We can brighten our days to come with a Vitamin D blood level above 50 ng's!

This article is my salute to all the brave researchers that have stayed the course in educating all who will listen about the true value of Vitamin D. The impetus for today’s article is the fact that Dr. McCullough Vitamin D research that he started in 2009 was put into his MEDICAL PRACTICE and has healed his patients. We have also learned that few have perished from the SARS II Covid-19 virus if their blood value of Vitamin D was above 50 ng’s.

Healing Patients by boosting Vitamin D blood level.

My investigation into the true value of Vitamin D started with the loss of my wife in 2009 who had a blood value of 9 ng’s when I had a blood value of 50 ng’s. We had an astute endocrinologist order the test that I didn’t know existed. The lack of sufficient Vitamin D was a major contributor to her inability to fight off Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Her immune system was severely impaired.

My first knowledgeable Vitamin D authority that I meet was Carole Baggerly, who was a breast cancer survivor and was tragically overly treated and decide she had to learn what was the root cause of her condition. She discovered that if caught early enough and the blood value of vitamin D was raised properly, that reversal of cancer can be accomplished.

That in turn, created her educational website called www.grassrootshealth.net. Today, there is strong evidence if blood value of Vitamin D is over 50 ng’s, women’s risk of breast cancer can be reduced by 80%. Unfortunately, we have gone from 1 in 22 women being diagnosed with breast cancer to 1 in 8, because the medicine man will not embrace this concept of testing for Vitamin D deficiency and correcting the condition.

Dr. William Grant, who is on her board of directors is a researcher who believes strongly that proper sun exposure without over exposure is the best route to boost Vitamin D blood value. Unfortunately, Americans have been taught to fear the sun.

Dr. Grant has also done research that says overall, we could cut cancer rates in the US by 50% if everyone had sufficient Vitamin D blood value over 50 ng’s. Unfortunately, that is not what the medicine man believes since poor research in 2011 that they embraced says 30 ng’s is good. Driven by Institute of Medicine (now called NAM. National Academy of Medicine) that is not a government agency, but an organization of commercial medical entities and other interested private enterprises that benefit from controlling the direction of medicine.

Another Director is Dr. Cedric Garland, who early on saw the need to fix the gross deficiency of Vitamin D in the US population went to Washington and was ignored and dismissed for his Vitamin D views. He and his brother Robert determined that cancer rates rise the further North you are, and sun light is diminished.

A highly respected physician who I also know that was successful to some extent in DC was Dr. Leslie Matthews, a trauma surgeon whose treatment protocol included nutrients including Vitamin D to heal brain trauma. He was successful in convincing the FDA of the importance of Vitamin D for good health and food labels that now report the amount of Vitamin D present. Unfortunately, most foods source are not rich in Vitamin D. Dr. Matthews was inducted into the Royal Academy of Medicine for his dedication to heal.

Another gentleman that I know is Henry Lahore that runs a website called www.vitamindwiki.com that documents all the research done on Vitamin D, that points to the fact that the higher the blood value of Vitamin D carried, the less likely you will acquire ill health. Totally ignored by a medical system that grows with a population that has increasingly ill health.

My approach has been to write about Vitamin D and also on medical issues that need explanation and exposure. My view is that the corporate medical community ignores the value of Vitamin D for good health because it will not grow their business model.

When the VA determines they can reduce their patient load by 50% by boosting the Vitamin D blood value of the Veterans they serve, and they ignore their own research tells me that they want to grow the bureaucracy over the health of those that they serve.
