Great information as a person of fair skin. I used to go to the dermatologist 2x a year to get topical "skin cancer" areas frozen. When covid came around and appointments were now harder to get, if not impossible and I was also not willing to wear a mask, I searched for alternatives; I started rubbing in cold pressed castor oil on these same areas before bed and low and behold these areas have cleared up!

Another anecdote for castor oil use is for cold sores, I have been prone to cold sores about once a year since youth and as we all know are very annoying. The last one I got, I said what the hell and rubbed castor oil on; a cold sore that normally took a week or more to subside only took 2-days. Nature provides all cures, the sun is probably one of the most powerful as your article pointed out.
