I've heard the Spanish Flu deaths were a large contributor to WWI ending. I've also read that the British banks greatly benefitted monetarily from and during WWI.
Agree with the money people benefiting, but the fact that the US joined the war effort meant that the Germans would not win and that is why they agreed to Armistice day.!
