People often lament that if there is a God, why does He allow so much evil in this world to torment humans? Could it be that humanity has grown so far apart from HIM, HE allows the suffering to wake them up and lead them to return to HIM, the Creator of us all!?! Deuteronomy 11:26-28. We are all unique individuals created in the likeness of God. The stargazers have not found another green and blue planet like earth and in the meantime, we got humans that are trying to destroy mother earth!
It has taken me a lifetime to come to understand and accept I don't know what His will (writ large) is. He has allowed me to live long enough to appreciate the value of the Serenity Prayer.
